The top of the pass is at 11307 ft/3446 m and has access to a wide array of backcountry stashes. Eldora Mountain Resort is located 21 mi/33.8 km away from Boulder and 47 mi/75.6 km away from Denver. Eldora’s Nordic Center provides with an extensive network of trails, which start only a few steps from the ski lifts and goes through alpine meadows, serene forests and dramatic mountain backdrops. The trails cover 24 mi/40 km long and are designated for cross country skiing.
Among the trails, 20% are for beginners, 50% intermediate and 30% advanced. At Eldora Nordic Center you can rent your equipment, have lessons and clinics. Also at the center you can have something to eat or drink and opportunity to purchase a variety of sundries like gloves, hats and sunglasses.
