Wirral Peninsula nestles between the River Dee and the River Mersey. Keep in mind that, the beach is usually crowded with kiters, other windsurfers and people walking their dogs. If you find yourself in Leasowe Bay, you should visit the Leasowe Lighthouse that was built in 1763 and is the oldest brick-built lighthouse in the country. Finally, the location caters a number of facilities, including free car parking and toilets.
