Near Albany you will come across one of the most spectacular off road parks in Georgia, Soggy Bottoms ATV Park. The 300 ac/1.2 km² park is situated inside a forest and sits at an elevation of 240 to 260 ft/73 to 79.2 m and due to its features, it is perfect for Four Wheel Driving.
The area offers many miles of woods trails, plenty of deep water crossings and mud pits. All the trails are marked, not rated and lightly maintained. It mostly consists of loose dirt, little hard pack, rocks, many trees and water crossings. There are a few hazards, that are assumed to be marked, but still please drive with caution.
If you get lucky, you might stumble upon mud bog and special events that are hosted during the year. The trails are mostly suitable for amateurs, but also experts and novices can have a blast. The park has an opening schedule, as it works every third weekend of the month from Friday to Sunday, so it is essential to call before you haul.
In this park, night riding is permitted until 2 am, so you can enjoy driving your monster car under the lights of your vehicle. Camping is primitive and showers are available. The only fee you will have to pay, in order to enjoy riding is at the entrance. There are different fees between weekdays and weekends. It is recommended to stay at least a couple of days to fully enjoy this amazing park!
