Düsseldorf is the center of the Rhine – Ruhr metropolitan region and the capital city of the German state of North Rhine – Westphalia. The beach is long, fun and sandy and you will find a lovely sun terrace where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and forget that you are just outside Düsseldorf! The lake’s length is 2.5 km /1.9 mi, offering exceptional water quality. Wind is another asset of the lake as, in its best form, it blows from the southeast and west-southwest with an average speed of 4 knots (7.5 kph).
