Ras Sudr Bay, located in the southwest of Suez Canal in Egypt, is considered a unique destination for kite-surfing. Overlooking the Red Sea, this small Bay offers truly unforgettable moments both for beginners and advanced riders.

Ras Sudr Bay enjoys excellent constant winds, at  around 17 knots/31.5 kph for a long period. The summer is long lasting with no notable humidity. The wide sandy beach and the relatively shallow waters make the Bay a hot kite spot. The morphology of the area with  small  lagoons formed alongside the beach, offer, especially to the novice, safe conditions for kiting.

The best period to visit the spot and perform kite-surfing is from April to September. Those beaches, being very wide and not dreadfully crowded, are just ideal for kite surfing. Certified instructors are willing to help and assist you with your efforts. Don’t miss the chance to kite-surf in this outstanding location of Egypt!!!
