Germasogia is a village in Limassol district area, on the South coast of Cyprus. It was built, in ancient times, between two mountains so that it'd be hidden from enemies during the times when the island was in wars. Now, it is privileged to be surrounded by the same, yet evolved, beautiful scenery.
- ABOUT THE SPOT
Kayaking in Lake Wenatchee State Park, Wenatchee, Washington USA
Lake Wenatchee is located in the Wenatchee National park, at about 40 min away from the main town. The river starts from the lake and ends at Tumwater Campground. The run is 16.5 mi/26 km long, with a class 2 difficulty level for normal flows and range from 400 to 15000 c.f.s.
The river is great for intermediate kayak enthusiasts, because you will come across a few class 2 rapids, sandstone ledges and high cliffs. The nature around you is amazing as you run through some remote sections of the river.
Because the water is relatively calm, you have the opportunity to admire the nature around you. Prepare to get wet in fresh, crystal clear cold water, take your gear with you or plan an organized river trip and enjoy a fantastic white water kayaking experience into the wild nature of Cascades.
