Lake Wenatchee is located in the Wenatchee National park, at about 40 min away from the main town. The river starts from the lake and ends at Tumwater Campground. The run is 16.5 mi/26 km long, with a class 2 difficulty level for normal flows and range from 400 to 15000 c.f.s.
The river is great for intermediate kayak enthusiasts, because you will come across a few class 2 rapids, sandstone ledges and high cliffs. The nature around you is amazing as you run through some remote sections of the river.
