The town hosts many interesting historical sites and is famous for its Kona Coffee cultivations and the crystal clear sea. Kona International Airport is located at fifteen minutes away in the south of the main town. Along the sea side, there are shops and schools to buy or rent diving gear as well as take lessons if you are a beginner.
However, Milolii Bay is not recommended for beginners. The bay is located 30 mi/48 km south of Kailua, next to Milolii a small traditional fishing village. Milolii Bay has an average depth of 4.6 m/15 ft and maximum depth 18.3 m/60 ft with no sea currents and good visibility.
The biodiversity of the bottom is interesting with a lot of colored tropical fish, eels, sea turtles, big rocks and corals. Divers should be careful of boat traffic.
South Head is the southern headland of the entrance to Sydney's Harbor, at the north of the suburb of Watsons Bay. Hornby Lighthouse, the third oldest lighthouse in New South Wales, is located in South Head.

Since it is located close to most of all the touristic areas, its beaches are one of the most visited and a great deal of activities take place at the same time.
Isla Mugeres is an amazing island in the Caribbean Sea. It is located approximately 13 km / 8 mi off the Yucatan Peninsula. The island is 7 km / 4 mi long, 650 m / 2130 ft wide and it is part of the Isla Mujeres Municipality in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Grand Traverse Bay is a 51 km/ 32 mi long, 16 km/ 10 mi wide bay of Lake Michigan. The Grand Traverse Bay Underwater Preserves accommodates many shipwrecks. One of the wrecks located in the Grand Traverse Preserve is that of the A. J. Rogers.
