Kamouraska is a town at the eastern side of Quebec, Canada and one of the most beautiful places in this province. The name "Kamouraska" is derived from the Algonquin language meaning "where rushes grow at the water's edge". Kamouraska is well know for its sophisticated, agriculture education center and the production of metal products.
Besides these, it is a popular destination for those who want to explore the beauty of Rock Climbing. In Kamouraska, there are about 100 routes of all levels for great climbing. The Kamouraska’s rock is unique in Quebec, as it is a mix of granite and quartz. You can climb in a range from bottled between 5.5 s to 5.13 +.
When you arrive at the top of the rock, the stunning view will mark your memory for ever. So it’s no wonder why this place is ideal for Rock Climbing. Finally, in order to perform this sport, you have to pay 6$ per day or 50$ per year, as the site is taken care by the climbing federation of Quebec and Sebka.
