Rock Island Creek trail is 2 mi/3.2 km long, out and back, about one and a half hour hike, with minimal elevation gain. It is an easy but great hike trail with panoramic views over a beautiful deserted canyon. There is a lot of exploring to do around, without having to follow a certain trail. The best time to hike this trail is from May through October.

As you hike up the trail, take a look at the canyon below you and admire the rock carvings.
