Around Heidelberg, you will find many places for off road sports as four wheel driving. One very popular route for four wheel driving is in Odenwald. Starting point of the route is in Neckargemünd. It is a light weighted off-road trip of approximately 37.4 mi/60 km long of pure off-road riding, which is divided in two parts and you need one day to complete it.
The first part is passing through the western part of the Odenwald nature reserve, with its lovely looking valleys and mountain ranges on the smaller roads, forest tracks and paths.
