Wenatchee is the largest city of Chelan County, located in North Central Washington and lies on the west side of the Columbia River. The city is also known as the Apple Capital of the world, due to the valley's many apple cultivations.

Hole In The Rock Trail is located within the Table Mountain Management Area, about one hour away from Wenatchee. It is 3.1 mi/5 km long, approximately one hour driving time and it is not suitable for beginners. The trail starts with a hill climb on the top of Nelson Hill and then to a steep descent into a gully.

The road steadily climbs while driving through forest and small meadows. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of Mount Stewart to the West. There is also a new section of the trail which is very tight in the trees and not suitable for full size rigs.

When the weather is wet, it gets harder to drive. Hole In The Rock Trail is a fun place for 4WD lovers and it is open for motorized use, from mid June to mid October. Don’t forget to take with you a GPS.
