Mona Vale is a suburb in northern Sydney, at about 28 km/17 mi in the north of Sydney's CBD (Central Business District). Mona Vale beach stretches at about 1 km/1093.6 yd in between the broad rock platform that divides it from the Basin on the north side and the Warriewood beach, on the south side. This spot provides you with good facilities and a picnic area.
Cooks Terrace, is a large grassed area atop a coastal cliff. This site is very popular with paraglider pilots, especially when the breeze is not too strong for them. If the instinct for adventure sports runs in your blood, then you should visit this place. When you take off, do not step on the low wooden fence.
Admire the stunning views of the beach and the surrounding area while you are floating through the air. The landing is on the beaches to either the north or south of the headland. It is advisable not to fly the north east facing part of the site when the wind is to the south.
