Puerto Rico is situated in the northeastern Caribbean and consists of an archipelago that includes the main island of Puerto Rico and a number of smaller islands. The climate here is classified as tropical marine climate, with an average temperature of 82.4°F/ 28°C, throughout the year. Although it is a small island, the smallest island of the Greater Antilles, Puerto Rico provides superb natural surroundings, countless adventure experiences and many places of historical interest.

Aguadilla is a lovely city, located in the northwestern tip of the island. It is well known to visitors for its amazing beaches. Surfers Beach is a popular, sandy beach, located close to Aquadilla and attracts surfers, kiters and windsurfers at any time of the year.

The swell sizes start from 1 m/3 ft and hold up to 4 m/12 ft. In addition, the optimum wind direction is from the southeast and the ideal swell direction is from the north. The reef break offers both left and right hand waves. In summer, the wind blows offshore at 17%, in autumn it blows at 38%, in winter at 33% and in spring at 39%.

Furthermore, there are many surf schools and shops in a short distance drive from the surf site. The spot is mostly recommended for experienced surfers. Finally, Surfers Beach gets very crowded from January to April, when it provides the best waves. Note: be careful of rocks and sea urchins.
