Bottineau Winter Park or else known as “The Jewel Above the Prairie” is a popular ski area nestled in the heart of North Dakota’s Turtle Mountains. It is a place, which nature was so kind with, offering abundant snow.
If you want to meet this winter resort, just visit the area and enjoy one of the most exciting activities, Alpine Skiing! The resort offers a vertical drop of 250 ft / 76 m. With 9 trails covering 40 ac / 0.16 km² of skiable area, skiers of all level of ability can do their magic tricks. 2 trails are tailored for beginners, 3 for intermediate skiers and 2 for experts of skiing. Trails are served by five lifts.
For more tricks and challenging features, you can visit the available terrain park. Although, the resort has quite enough snow, the snow-making machines produce snow over 100 % of the area to ensure best possible snow conditions. Furthermore, the resort is the only place in the area that offers night skiing!
Amenities include a ski school, rental shops and a cafeteria. Annie’s House is a new facility, designed to accommodate the needs of skiers/snowboarders with both cognitive and physical disabilities. It also provides ski equipment and programs for wounded warriors who returned from Iraq and Afghanistan.
