As most of the cities that are situated in Lake’s Region (Região dos Lagos), the area’s economy is mostly based on tourism. The natural setting of the place as well as the Araruma Lake that offers constant winds to the area, render Cabo Frio a unique place for kite-surfers.
There may be conditions for different levels of difficulty, so either you are an experienced kite-surfer or a beginner, your needs will be attended. The average temperature is relatively high (24°C – 75.2°F) and the climate is mainly tropical. Please note that there are a lot of local schools offering their services to you.
