Kiteboarding / Kitesurfing in Broadsea Point, Aberdeenshire, Northeastern Scotland United Kingdom

Hazards:
High tides
Best winds:
NW to NE
At 54 km/33 mi in the north of Aberdeen city, there is a town called Broadsea Point bay.

It is a place that offers among others water sport activities like kitesurfing. The bay starts from the town of Fraserburgh until the eastern side of Cairnbulg Point. This area offers one of the best waves in the eastern Aberdeenshire.

During proper weather conditions on the bay, huge waves are produced, which can offer you an extreme kite surfing experience. Be careful and avoid launching and landing during high tides, as the dunes produce very turbulent winds. Best wind is from the northwest to northeast, but during western and eastern directions, wind can be very gusty.

There is a car park, which will lead you to the beach via boardwalk over the dunes.
