Perth is the capital city of Western Australia, located on the Swan River. The climate here is classified as Mediterranean, with hot and dry summers and cool and wet winters. Trigg Beach is located approximately at 14 km/8.7 mi away from Perth. Trigg Point is a point break that provides the right conditions for surfers and body-boarders. Here you are able to explore the waves with swell sizes that can start from 1 m-1.5 m/3 ft-5 ft and holds up to 2.5 m/8 ft. Offshore winds blow from the east and the ideal swell direction is from the west, southwest.

The site is appropriate for body-boarders of all levels. In addition, the best tide position is all tides. The optimum period for waves is winter. Keep in mind that, you will have much competition for waves here, as it is a crowded spot with many surfers and body-boarders.

Last but not least, Trigg beach caters for a number of facilities, including a car park and a ramp for disabled access. Note: be careful of sharks, rips and undertow.
