Meanwhile Gardens in Westbourne Park is one of the oldest skate-parks in London. This park offers a big concrete bowl that is divided into three sections. The first one, at the top of the park, is a 0.9 m/3 ft mini-ramp with a bowled corner. The deeper section is at 1.8 m/6 ft with 2.4 m/8 ft extensions. The location features hips, a couple of sketchy stair-sets, mini ramps and quarter pipes. In addition, it is suitable for more experienced skateboarders.
The spot is usually crowded, especially during weekends. It is advisable to use a helmet , as well as elbow and knee pads, in order to prevent injuries.
