Singleton is an exposed beach break, that offers good surf at all stages of the tide. The best wind direction is from the east, northeast and the ideal swell direction is from the west, southwest. Surfers are able to explore the waves with swell sizes that can start from 1 m-1.5 m/3 ft-5 ft and hold up to 3 m/10 ft. In addition, the spot offers very reliable surf conditions, with both left and right hand waves.
In summer, the wind blows offshore at 25%, in autumn the wind blows at 40%, in winter at 40% and in spring at 26%. Furthermore, the surf break is suitable for novice and advanced surfers alike. The best tide movement is falling tides and the ideal tide position is mid tides. Keep in mind that, it tends to be flat during summer. Finally, Singleton is usually crowded, especially during weekends. Note: be careful of undertow, rips and locals.
