The Illes Medes (in Catalan) or Ilsas Medas (in Spanish) is a wonderful small group of seven islets in the northwest Mediterranean Sea. They are situated east of the coastal town of L'Estartit.

Robbs Jetty is a popular dive site close to the metropolitan area. The average depth here is at 5 m/16.4 ft and the maximum is at 8 m/26.2 ft. Visibility is medium and varies from 5 m/16.4 ft to 10 m/32.8 ft. In addition, the spot is suitable for novice and advanced divers alike.
There is a variety of colorful sponges and corals. This spot is a great combination of the macro life and the open sea life. Divers are able to witness an abundant marine life here, including port jackson shark, cardinalfish, western talma, morwongs, schools of yellowtails, grubfish and giant cuttlefish, to name just a few. It is advisable to take a dive flag, due to the boat traffic.
Furthermore, Robbs Jetty is usually crowded, especially during weekends. Finally, Perth is at about 30 minutes drive away from the spot, providing with a plethora of accommodation options, good restaurants and bars to relax and have fun.
