Entry can be made from the rocks on the southern end of the beach. After entering, go up over the rocks and you will see a small break-wall. Follow this and admire lots of overhangs, swimthroughs and small canyons. The maximum depth of the dive site is at 15 m/49.2 ft. The spot is appropriate for all levels of divers.
Visibility rate is pretty good on high tide. Water temperature is up to 21°C/69.8°F in summer and early autumn months and between 14-18°C/57.2-64.4°F in winter. Expect to see giant cuttlefish, octopus, morey eels, schools of old wife, pipefish, yellow-tail and the occasional King fish. Note: it is also an excellent spot for night dive.
North Head is the northern headland of the entrance to Sydney Harbor. All along this section, there are several excellent dive sites.
Willyama is a thrilling spot with a wreck for scuba diving, located in Marion Bay, Yorke Peninsula. This 2705 tons of steamer met its fate in 1897 at Rhino's Head Marion Bay. A mast sticks out of the water and the rest of the wreck lies scattered around the bottom.
Pulau Tiga is located at 48 km/29.9 mi in the south of Kota Kinabalu and became well known due to the "Survivor" series, hosting the setting of "Survivor Borneo", the first American season of the show. Scuba diving in Pulau Tiga is open to all levels of divers and is a prime location for macro lovers and underwater photography. The spot is believed to have been formed by the eruption of several mud volcanoes and is at 100 m/328 ft above sea level.
Ponta Do Ouro is the southern most village in Mozambique and is a popular holiday destination. It lies on the Mozambique Channel, southern of Maputo and just northern of the border with South Africa.
