Indian Creek Trail is located on the Central Cascade Mountain, at the Wenatchee National Forest. It is 14 mi/22 km long (out and back), two to ten hours snowshoeing, with an elevation gain of 1300 ft/396 m.
It is suitable for all skill levels, but as you go higher, it gets more difficult. Indian Creek Trail is open from late December through March. Snow-shoers will walk through impressive summits as they walk up the wide Teanaway Valley with beautiful dark forest, river environments and lots of snow and sunshine.
The path is very popular to snow-shoers and skiers, but if you want to avoid crowds, you can climb a side valley that is less visited. You will also come across a wide variety of plants and animals to observe. Don’t forget to take with you a map and a compass.
