Nahahum Canyon route is located right outside the town of Cashmere, ten minutes away from Wenatchee Town. The ride is 11 mi/17.7 km long, out and back, with an elevation gain of 1600 ft/487 m. The difficulty level of this ride is in category two, not suitable for beginners. The average gradient of the terrain is at 5,5% and the maximum at 10% which makes the route challenging.
The road in the beginning of the trail has a long steady climb, on pavement and in open terrain. As you continue further, you enter the forest and after a small downhill, the climb starts again. Nahahum Canyon Route is a great ride for bicycle enthusiasts to escape the city and take a deep, refreshing breath of fresh, clean mountain air. Don’t forget to take with you water and a map.
