Port Noarlunga Southern Reef, a popular site among advanced divers mostly, is a pretty easy dive with good visibility and prolific fish life at relatively shallow depths. You can follow the underwater trail (12 underwater markers starting from the jetty and ending at the reef), or start at the gap of the reef.
Don’t forget to explore the small cave and the overhangs. Be prepared to see leather jackets, Blue Devils, cuttlefish, old wives, strongies, silver drummers, zebras and carpet sharks. Be careful of the currents, as sometimes they can be strong.
