Masella is a ski resort in the Pyrenees mountains, belonging to Alp’s municipality, in Girona. It lies on La Tossa d’Alp mountain. The temperature varies from 1°C to 15°C/33.80°F to 59°F throughout the year, with February being the coldest month. With 457 snow cannons, it’s open about five months per season for all winter sports. The forest extends along at 80% of its pistes and at 90% on the face north.
It offers the largest vertical drop in the Eastern Pyrenees, about 935 m/3067 ft (approximately 400 m/1312 ft higher than average resorts), making it the perfect spot for speed skiing.
