Widely known as "The Queen of the North Sea" Norderney Island has annually more than three million guests and is one of the most important tourism attractions in East Frisia.

The last stop of Kitesurf Masters event will take place on the North Beach on August 14th to 16th where depending on the wind force, big waves can be a real challenge for the kitesurfers participating.

As the location is known for its wilderness and weather conditions are most of the time impossible to calculate, giving some strong currents and high waves, this race is not for beginners.
