No special techniques and ability of riding are required, when visiting Watertown Skatepark. The only things required are your bike, all your positive energy and the excessive desire of exercising an extreme BMX activity.
Watertown Skatepark is an outside skatepark with skatelite riding surface and many challenging features. Some of them are 3 pyramids, 18-30 ft/5.48-9.15 m, 7 quarter pipes from 4 ft/1.22 m to 5 ft/1.52 m and a 2.5 ft/0.76 m launch tabletop. Other features that you could really use are a 4 ft/1.22 m mini ramp, several banks, some rails and a box on two of the pyramids. The park also offers 2 lines and an extra tabletop and rail on the side. The focal point of your activity will the mini ramp, which goes into a bank with a tabletop and quarter pipes on each side.
All BMX enthusiasts must adhere to the park’s rules, such as use of helmets and elbow/knee pads, not to consume alcohol, tobacco or drugs, no graffiti, no glass containers and one rider on the ramp at a time. The park is open on Sunday – Saturday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m, School Year Hours and daily 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, Summer Hours.
