Zanesfield is the smallest incorporating village in Logan County, Ohio, USA. It is located about 40 minutes west from Delaware.

Near this beautiful little village lies a huge 144 ac/0.58 km² ski resort, offering great views and unique snowboard trails due to its elevation, Mad River Mountain. The resort is considered to be one of the best in the entire Ohio, covering a groomed terrain of 58 ac/0.23 km², where you can find an amazing trail combination.

If you are a novice snowboarder, there are 19.2 ac/0.07 km² of groomed trails especially made for you, so you can learn how to snowboard without being bothered by experienced snowboarders. If you are an intermediate snowboarder, 11 ac/0.04 km² of terrain are at your disposal and if you are experienced, you are lucky because almost half of the terrain, 27.9 ac/0.11 km² of groomed trails are tailored for those who are looking for a challenge!

The average snowfall of the area is 36 in/91.4 cm per year, making the already existing 100% snowmaking system essential. If you are in the category of freestylers, you can choose between 3 terrain parks containing various features. All of them differ in difficulty and any real rider can have a thrill!

In order to reach these awesome features, there is a system of 14 lifts, 5 surface lifts, 3 magic carpets and 6 chairs. The elevation of the area starts at 1160 ft/353.6 m above sea level and reaches 1460 ft/445 m. The vertical drop of 300 ft/91.4 m will leave you with nothing else than pleasure, as you can take advantage of it in whatever way you choose!
