Perth is the capital city of Western Australia, located on the Swan River. The climate here is classified as Mediterranean, with hot and dry summers and cool and wet winters. Immerse yourself in the unique combination of stunning natural surroundings, beautiful beaches with clear waters, greenery park-lands and outstanding city architecture that attract visitors all year long.

But that is not all. Perth offers a variety of sports and leisure activities to sport lovers. Waterman Beach is an interesting dive site in the metropolitan area. Also, it is a great location for dive training and for night diving. The average depth here is at 4 m/13.1 ft and the maximum is at 14 m/45.9 ft. Visibility is pretty good and varies from 10 m/32.8 ft to 30 m/98.4 ft.

Divers will be amazed by the diversity of reef life, with many reef species, tarwhine, buffalo bream and rays to name just a few. In addition, Waterman beach is usually crowded. Last but not least, Perth is at about 20 minutes drive from the site, providing with a plethora of accommodation options, good restaurants and bars to relax and have fun.

Head north on William St / State Route 53 toward Murray St. Turn left at Wellington St / State Route 65. Turn right to enter the Mitchell Freeway / State Route 2 to Joondalup. Take the Karrinyup Rd / State Route 76. Continue to follow the Karrinyup Rd. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit to West Coast Drive / Tourist Drive 204.
