Pelion is one of the most beautiful mountains, situated near the city of Volos in Greece. The amazing thing about Mount Pelion is that you can have many different experiences, as the sides of the mountain offer something different every time. In the part you see from the city of Volos, the main attractions are Makrinitsa, Portaria and of course Hania, where you can enjoy a nice alpine skiing session in the ski resort.
On the other side, Mount Pelion has the amazing Aegean Sea, making it a perfect sea kayaking destination. There are many places, where you can enjoy sea kayaking, but Damouchari is one of the best.
Local schools offer guided kayaking tours to those who want to explore the magnificent coastline of Pelion on the amazing, clean Mediterranean waters. You can enjoy a nice ride with your kayak into caves and explore deserted, remote and spectacular beaches. The schools provide you with single or double seat kayaks, ideal for friends, couples and families.
The guided tours are available almost every day from April until the end of October. Everybody can enjoy this awesome adventure, as no previous experience is required.
