At 19 km/12 mi from Knysna, there is the amazing Harkerville Mountain Biking Trail with an intermediate level of difficulty. The color coded trails range from 14 to 24 km /8.6 to 15 mi and running through indigenous forests, tree plantations and coastal fynbos.

Rides are filled with breathtaking views and stunning climbs, followed by bone-rattling descents which are just awesome. Riding equipment and permit is offered and attire is just comfortable.
Depending on one’s route of choice, there is no reason why not carrying a swim suit just in case you need to cool off, before continuing your exhilarating ride!! Minimum age for riding is 10 years.
