Kahului is located in Maui Island in Hawaii and is the largest city of the Island. It is considered to be a shopping destination because there are several major stores and malls.
It’s also home to Kahana Pond State Wildlife Sanctuary and the Alexander and Baldwin Sugar Museum, dedicated to Maui’s sugar industry. Kahului’s own major airport is located in the North shore. Tropical Gardens Trail is an easy, 1 mi/1.6 km long trail, perfect for nature and flower lovers. It is located very close to the city of Kahului and is suitable for everyone.
You will have the opportunity to admire an amazing array of tropical flowers, of all shapes and colors, ferns and huge trees from all the tropical world. There are many paths to follow and in every turn you take, there is a new paradise appearing in front of you. You can hear the sounds of birds all around and watch the streams of Iao Valley as you cross over a bridge. Tropical Gardens is an easy going hike and if you visit the place on a weekday, you will have it all almost to yourself.
