Saint Ignace, the second-oldest city founded by Europeans in Michigan and the third oldest continuously inhabited city in the U.S. Inhabited by Native Americans, Europeans and rich in history, it is mostly known for its ferry service to Mackinac Island and as being home to Straits State Park. Snowmobile in Crystal Springs Snow Park, Wenatchee, Washington USA
Crystal Springs Snow Park is located at about an hour and a half away from Wenatchee, before Kachess Lake. The snowmobile routes have an elevation gain of 2400 ft/731 m and parking space for 150 cars. The Snow park offers a trail system of 51 mi/82 km with sanitary facilities and scenic view points. The trails are also used from non motorized recreationists.
The view from the mountain is breathtaking as soon as you get higher and higher. You drive through alpine scenery with huge pine trees and fun powder snow. During winder season, there is a Sno-Park permit required, which you can get from the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission. Drivers should take water and snacks with them and be careful of the working crews that may be on the trails during the day to clear drifts or debris.
How to Get to Destination
From downtown Seattle, not far from the airport, the King Street Train Station is a perfect way to get to Wenatchee. The station offers an enclosed waiting area, with restrooms, ATM and a ticket office. It is located on 303 South Jackson Street.
