Mossel Bay is a beautiful coast, located in between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, at 400 km/248 mi of distance both ways. It is surrounded by the sunbathed peninsula and the beautiful waters of the Indian Ocean. It offers a mild climate all year round, making it a perfect winter break destination. The weather is influenced by the Aghulas current of the Indian Ocean and by the presence of the Outeniqua mountains.

Montagu Pass with its S-bending serpentine curves offers an amazing if not thrilling quad biking experience. It is a historic gravel pass standing at an altitude of 780 m/2559 ft with much gravel surface and steep ascents taking you through indigenous forests, plantations and mountain fynbos.

Difficulty is graded as intermediate and covers a distance of 30 km/18.7 mi. The distance can be covered as a one-way or return route depending on one’s preference. Duration normally is about 3 hours of a fascinating adventure of a life time!!!
