At the banks of Hennops River, there is this amazing 4×4 trail which accommodates both the novice and the experienced 4×4 driver. Hennops off-road 4×4 trail is an all in one package… from serene and tranquil easy environment to rugged rocky terrain. The route is a self drive circular route covering a distance of 9 km/5.5 mi with obstacles.

Graded between 2-4, it lasts between 2-3 hours to accomplish. The terrain mainly consists of sand, mud, rocks, river crossings and dongas. The spot is open during the weekends and public holidays all year round, allowing for weather changes like dry winter months and wet, muddy summers.
