Milos is a breathtaking island in the Aegean Sea, just in the north of the Cretan Sea. It is the southwesternmost island in the Cyclades group. This volcanic island is popular for the statue of Aphrodite (currently hosted by the Louvre Museum and for statues of the Greek god Asclepius (currently hosted by the British Museum).

Wind Surfing in Geeries, Mandurah, Western Australia Australia
Geeries is located in the south of Mandurah and provides with the right conditions for surfing and windsurfing. Windsurfers are able to explore the waves with swell sizes that can hold up to 3.5 m/12 ft. The best wind direction is from the east, southeast and the ideal swell direction is from the west, southwest.
In addition, the spot is suitable for windsurfers of all levels. Keep in mind that, it is a popular site, so it is usually crowded, especially during weekends. Last but not least, if you get tired of struggling with the waves, Mandurah offers a variety of hotels, cosy bars and good restaurants to relax and have fun. Note: be careful of sharks, rips and rocks.
