"Jackson, Mississippi: City with Soul" is the current motto for the notorious capital of the U.S. state of Mississippi, which sits atop the Jackson Volcano. Located at the southern border of the Mississippi Delta, Jackson is the capital as well as the largest city in the Mississippi state. The total area of 277 km²/106.95 mi² was inhabited by the Choctaw Nation for thousands of years before European encounter.

Famous for its music, including Gospel, Blues and R&B, with many notable musicians stemmed or gotten inspired by the city of Jackson, it is the perfect place for a mixture of culture and recreation. With its downtown attractions, historic market and annual events, the city of Jackson can be a place of interest for any visitor. If we were asked what Jackson is missing though, we would have to say skate parks. There is no public skate park in the entire city of Jackson and the only private skate park has opened its gates in 2012.

Spine ramp, rail, skate tramp are only a few of the park’s features that will allow you to learn or practice your flatland and flip tricks, slides and grinds. Whether you are a skate veteran into freestyle and oldschool skateboarding tricks or a youngster who dreams to become a pro, you will have the opportunity to practice and learn all the tricks you need in a safe and fun environment rather than the streets. It’s suitable for blading and BMX too. Note that helmets and protective gear are available upon request.

So, if you are a skateboarding fanatic and want to have unforgettable fun, Jackson is the place to be!!!
