Kiteboarding / Kitesurfing in Boyndie Bay, Aberdeenshire, Northeastern Scotland United Kingdom

Best wind:
Northwest, north, east
Just 47.2 mi/76 km in the north of Aberdeen city, there is a friendly kite place called Boyndie Bay.

This is a very friendly place for beginners and intermediates on learning how to kite, as it has no major hazards and no dunes. In contrast with Fraserburgh bay, which is eastern, the waters are calmer and flatter. There is a surf club by the beach that provides rented equipment.

Suitable winds to kite are northwest, north and east. Only concern is that you should be careful, as there are rocks on both sides of the beach. There is a car park in the Caravan club and accommodation next to Banff town. Also in the town someone can find shops, including a surf shop and restaurants.
