Voodoo is a little known surf break and also another shore dive in the Kurnell National Park. Access to the site is by swimming between the big rocks at the end of the ocean pool. The average depth here is at 12 m/39.4 ft and the maximum is at 24 m/78.7 ft. Visibility is good in favorable conditions. The spot is suitable for advanced divers and only when conditions are placid.
Water temperature is up to 21°C/69.8°F in summer and early autumn months and between 14-18°C/57.2-64.4°F in winter. The ideal time to dive this spot is on an incoming tide. Divers may come across wobbegong sharks, Port Jackson sharks, southern eagle rays, giant cuttlefish, bull rays, moray eel, schools of yellowtail, angelsharks as well as a wide range of nudibranch.
Keep in mind that the conditions can change without warning. Be careful of the currents. Last but not least, you are required to pay an entry fee to the park.
