Ziplining in Ceres, Cape Winelands, Western Cape South Africa

Cape Winelands is an area of vast vines and vineyards as the name suggests. Situated in the north east of Cape Town, it constitutes fertile green valleys, towns and villages surrounded by proud mountains. It is characterized by Mediterranean Climate and the winter rain contributes to the famous wine production which can be found in most of the world's corners.

Ziplining in Ceres is performed at the amazing Schurweberg Mountains, just below the Koekedouw Dam. Ziplining here is fast and furious and promises an adrenalin rush to be remembered, not to mention the stunning view of the Ceres Valley and the rugged sand stone mountains.

Considered as the longest ziplining tour in Africa, it has a length of 1.4 km/0.9 mi with 8 slides ranging from 100-290 m/328-951 ft with the highest at 40 m/131 ft above the ground. Ziplining here is an all year round activity from 8:00 to 17:00.
