The park sits at an elevation of 650 to 750 ft/198.12 to 229 m and is open year-round. For your activity, Lakeview OHV Park offers two motocross tracks, miles of woods and sand trails, hill climbs and mud bogs. You also find some loose dirt, hard pack, mud and trees.
The water that is crossing through the park gives you the sense of extreme riding. This area is well maintained by the Lakeview Off Road Riders. There are few hazards on the trails, which are marked, but still be careful. The park is mostly addressed to amateur riders, some novices and little experts.
The admission is free, but an Iowa Registration Sticker is required. Note that there is a noise limit of 96 dB and helmets are mandatory. Camping is not permitted, but nearby McBridge Reservoir offers swimming and camping opportunities as well. Just arrange to spend a couple of days in this park and feel what is called extreme motocross!
