When it comes to Base Jumping at Cave of Swallows, there’s no combination of words to accurately describe this unique experience. Cave of Swallows or Sótano de las Golondrinas is a pit cave situated deep in a Mexico rain forest.

The cave’s Spanish name means Pit of the Swallows, because of the abundance of White-collared Swifts and Green Parakeets, living in holes in the cave’s walls that make this place more interesting. Especially in the evenings, it is possible to perform thrilling base jumping accompanied by these lovely creatures.

The entrance to the cave is circular opening about 50 m/164 ft east to west and 60 m/196 ft wide. The lowest point of the entrance gives a 333 m/1092 ft free fall drop to the bottom of the cave, while the highest point provides a 372 m/1220 ft free fall drop.
