There are no words that can describe the beauty and wilderness of the Chilean Patagonia. Adventure and nature enthusiasts from around the world place the majestic Torres Del Paine National Park among the top destinations for its unique and unspoiled natural beauty.

Patagonian International Marathon, is organized for the 3rd time by NIGSA and takes place entirely within the amazing Torres Del Paine National Park, in the Chilean Patagonia. The marathon includes four race distances. The ultra marathon with 39 mi / 63 km long, the marathon with 29 mi / 42 km long, the half marathon with 13 mi / 21 km long and 6.2 mi / 10 km long and everyone finishes in the same location.

"Patagonian International Marathon"

The route takes you through the most dramatic landscapes of the National Park with mountains rising over 8202 ft / 2500 m height, crystal clear lakes, breathtaking icebergs and an abundance of wild flora and fauna. The surface of the race is a winding gravel road and includes a total climb (ascent and decent) of  7874 ft / 2400 m for the 63k marathon.

The Patagonian International Marathon event is supporting the mission of calling the planet’s attention to the conservation of the Chilean Patagonia while contributing to the sustainable development of the area. The event is cup free and is committed to the Leave No Trace policy.
