The Port Hughes jetty offers excellent fishing opportunities with blue crabs, snook, tommy ruffs, King George whiting, flathead, snapper and squid .

The beaches are stunning while the flat wide sandy bottom of the shores with its clear blue green waters are excellent for families and provide excellent conditions for teenagers who love to initiate themselves into skim-boarding.
