Twin Lakes Trail is located on the Central Cascade Mountain, at the Wenatchee National Forest. It is 4 mi/6.4 km long (out and back), about five hours hike with an elevation gain of 400 ft/122 m.
The trail is open from December through late February, and is suitable for all skill levels and ages. It is an easy pleasant hike that leads you to Twin Lakes, set deep in the woods. You will come across a wide variety of plants and animals to admire such as deep green pine trees, birds, deers, martens, bobcats and cougars.
The path is safe from snowdrifts, but always check the weather forecast before you choose this trail and don’t forget to take with you a map and a compass.
