Yosemite National Park is a perfect place for rock climbing. It doesn’t matter if you are a novice climber or expert, because if you have a Yosemite rock climbing guide, your skills will be just right to have fun and enjoy the challenges and the beauty of climbing in the Park.
If you want to climb in Yosemite National Park, you should set up your guided climb, by calling the Park. Some of the climbing areas are Yosemite Valley, Dark Side Wall, Hetch Hetchy, Tuolumne Meadows and Wawona Dome. Yosemite Valley provides with 54 climbing sections and best time to climb is all year long. Dark Side Wall doesn’t have any other climbing sections.
The wall is located on the south of Merced River, adjacent to cosmic hole which features a very big prominent dihedral. Nearest City is El Portal. It contains two routes, 700 lb girlfriend and The Lion’s Trail. Best time to climb is autumn, spring and winter. Hetch Hetchy has 10 climbing sections. Nearest city is Hetch Hetchy. In order to go there, use the 120 W entrance of the park and just follow the signs.

Finally, Wawona Dome is a 700 ft/213.3 m dome, located near town of Wawona, just inside the southern entrance of the park. It doesn’t have any climbing sections but it has two routes, Broke Bloke 5.10b and Cream of the Crop.
