Little Manly Cove is located at the corner of Stuart and Marshall Streets. This spot is a great dive for novice or advanced divers alike. Rich in marine life, Little Manly Cove boasts a wide range of sea life – sea horses, red Indian fish, old wives, hermit crabs, cuttlefish, string-rays and schools of silver bream and silver Trevelyan.
The slower the dive, the more you will see. Also, divers may come across with little fairy penguin, the smallest penguin in the world. It is a shore dive and it can be explored all year long . The entry and the exit can be made from the sandy beach, outside the swimming enclosure wall.
Diving is not permitted inside this section. The maximum depth of the spot is at 32 ft/10 m and visibility is good at around 16 ft/5 m during high tide. It is a well protected site, however taking a dive flag is recommended due to the fishing lines and the hooks.
