Bermuda, also known as the Bermudas, is situated off the east coast of the United States. It might seem as a long distance destination, but in fact it is less than 2 hours away from most eastern US airports. Bermuda enjoys a humid subtropical climate, with mild and windy winters and hot summers. The island is divided into nine parishes and two incorporated municipalities. Hamilton is the capital city of Bermuda. It is a wonderful, harbor city full of sights of historical interest, beautiful gardens and incredible restaurants.

Elbow Beach is a spectacular, wide stretch of soft pink sand, located in Paget Parish. Although it is very popular among locals and visitors, it is big enough, not to get crowded. The location provides excellent conditions for a number of watersports, including windsurfing, SUP and kitesurfing.

The last one is a favorite sport here. The ideal time for kitesurfing is from December through May, when constant winds blow between 15 and 25 knots/27.78 and 46.30 kph. You can kitesurf with winds blowing from the east, northeast through southwest. Elbow Beach is suitable for intermediate and advanced kiters. It is advisable to bring your own gear with you, as there are hardly any rentals available. Finally, there is also a shipwreck within short distance of shore that attracts divers and snorkelers to explore it.

Elbow Beach is generally an ideal location for your summer fun getaway. After all that’s why you come here…for unstoppable fun!!!
