Lake Michigan is one of the five Great Lakes and the only one placed entirely within the United States. It has the same surface elevation as Lake Huron and it is the second largest of Great Lakes. The Straits of Mackinac join Lake Michigan with Lake Huron, sometimes called the Michigan-Huron. The Straits of Mackinac Underwater Preserve holds numerous shipwrecks, one of them being the Maitland.

Scuba Diving in Shelley Beach, Manly, New South Wales Australia
Manly is a suburb of northern Sydney. Historic landmarks, sandy beaches, hidden coves and impressive National Parks are certainly parts of the charm of this destination.
On the northern beaches, Shelley/Shelly beach is popular for its amazing marine life and its great facilities. It is safe and easy for new divers to attend a scuba diving training because it is protected from the ocean by a reef on the right side of the beach.
The maximum depth is about 12 m/39 ft and it can be explored all year long. The visibility is good and many species, like weedy sea dragon, can be observed on the spot. Divers may come across with whaler sarks during the winter months. It is a lifetime experience and it is totally harmless.
