One of the things Marseille is famous about is the Marseille or Prado Skate-park. Designed in the 1991, the bowl of Marseille became a world reference. That skate-park is very popular among BMX riders. All concrete made with height variance, the bowls’ deepest spot is at 2.7 m /8.1 ft.
This park has been featured on a video game (Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2) and hosted skating events with international skate stars, sponsored by a surfing apparel company. The biggest outdoor park in France, apart from the awesome bowl, also hosts a bank, mini ramps and a vert ramp.
All these features became a magnet for a lot of BMX riders so if you are a beginner, you should go in the morning. A lot of foreigners are attracted to this park like Spanish Americans, Germans, Norwegians, Dutch, English and mostly Belgians.

Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.
